The difference between "Floor Models" and "Used" machines

Legitimate retailers have limits on how low they can sell their 'new' machines.  MK Quilts can make you a special deal on our floor models with or without Pro-Stitcher.  MK Quilts currently runs a variety of machines on 4+ frames for active quilting of our customer quilts in the MK Quilts studio in Palm Harbor, Florida.  We 'burn-in' every machine we sell in order to insure that even the smallest abnormality is addressed.  Our expertise as longarmers and premier service providers insures that you have the best quality machine.  Should we use the machine longer than a couple of million stitches, we will classify them as a 'floor model' and give them the appropriate discount.

Used Longarm Machines for Sale

Buy a used longarm from a retailer with an impeccable reputation for service and support.  Investing in a longarm - especially with a Pro-Stitcher computerized controller - is like buying a car.  If you can't afford a new one, you are better off buying from an honest dealer that you know will not close up shop and disappear.  MK Quilts can not guarantee that used systems will not breakdown.  However we can be there if it does.  Ask us about extended warranties.

Common pricing:  $10,000 to $12,000 with new frame - depends on age and features
Many Babylock, Janome, and other longarms are built by Handi Quilter.  If they support Pro-Stitcher, that is the hint.

New Frames

Used machines can be shipped nationally.  Used frames are cost-prohibitive to ship in most cases.  New frames are ordered from Handi Quilter and delivered to you when purchasing most of our used machines.

MK Quilts will honestly help you assess the value of your current system.  You will make the most money selling it yourself locally.  MK Quilts will offer you at least $2000 less on most systems.  We can try to upgrade your existing frame to support the new machine when possible, saving you money.  This may allow you to sell your machine nationally and we provide the new frame.  Ask us about your options.
