Our team of professional longarm quilters are dedicated to finish your quilt.
We will help you select a quilting design, batting, and thread choice perfect for your quilt. No minimum size and no minimum price. Quilts accepted in person and by mail. Your quilt will be lovingly completed on one of our Handi Quilter computerized quilting longarm machines by a true quilting pro – we’ve done hundreds over the years. |

Longarm Quilting FAQS
We offer multiple price points to suit your quilt’s needs and charge per the square inch.
Our favorite designs to use are 2.5 cents.
We literally have thousands of designs to select from! When you come in for your quilting appointment we will show you our digital library of designs, using MK Design Indexer. Choose a design based on a motif, a keyword, or a price point. We will discover the perfect design for your quilt.
Your quilt back needs to be 6” bigger on all four sides of your quilt. For Example, if your quilt is 60” x 70”, your backing needs to be 72” x 82”. We have many widebacks available if you need a back for your quilt.
You are welcome to bring your own good quality batting. It needs to be a few inches bigger than your quilt top. We offer Quilters Dream batting for sale in cotton, poly, 80/20, and wool. We have a Hobbs cotton/wool blend.
Yes! We offer machine binding services. Bring in your prepared binding when you drop off your quilt and we will price the binding for you. We can either sew the binding to the top of your quilt for you to hand finish or we can complete it with a fully by-machine binding technique.
If you’re preparing the binding, we prefer 2.5” strips, pressed in half. If we prepare it, it will be based on that strip dimension. If you provide a strip based on a different starting width, please make sure we know at the time of drop.
Absolutely. At MK Quilts we are known for our high quality quilting and custom work. We will quilt border designs, full custom, and even focus around your applique. Bring in your work of art to discuss custom quilting options.
