Ellen Ault is a professional longarm quilter, specializing in custom free motion quilting since 2014. Ellen's quilts have shown nationally at American Quilting Society Quilt Weeks, Mancuso Quilt Shows, and International Quilt Festivals. She won three blue ribbons in 2018; one for longarm quilting, one for design, and one for use of color. Ellen has a background in art and teaching. She taught animation and art at the college level for 13 years before transitioning to the quilting world. Quilting is a family affair, sharing an Amara with her mother, Sandy and her daughter, Zoe whom completed her first quilt on the longarm herself at age of 5!
Ellen is our Quilt Studio Manager here at MK Quilts and part of the "Dynamic Duo" regularly with MK on our live feeds. She is here to bring your quilts to life and help you decide upon the perfect design to best suit your quilt.
