Moxie/Moxie XL   (15"/18")

  • Both machines utilize the 8-foot LOFT frame that can be expanded to 10ft.  
  • Price:  $5000 - $8000  (Moxie/Moxie XL)
  • Quilt from the Back option extra.
  • Works with Pro-Stitcher LITE = ~$6000
  • We recommend the Moxie XL as the better value.
  • If considering adding PS-Lite, ask us about the availability of a used Avante with PS that can run $8K-$12K.
Family of Machines

Amara 20 / ST
  • The 20-inch machine can be deployed as a sit-down (ST) machine on a mechanical LIFT table or a INSIGHT table.  For people with very little space, this machine is the deluxe sit-down model available.
  • The stand-up Amara 20 is normally deployed on a Studio frame that can be set up at 6, 8, 10, or 12 feet wide.  We do not recommend the 5-foot Little Foot frame as we see many upgrade later.
  • This is a great personal machine, but we recommend the 24-inch Amara if planning to quilt as a business. 
  • This is a great 'free motion' machine due to it's size.  But is also wonderful with Pro-Stitcher robotics.
  • This machine with frame is about $13,000.

Amara 24 - (previously Forte)
  • The 24-inch machine was previously branded as a "Forte".  It is the direct successor to the 24-inch Fusion.
  • This is the best value if looking to make money quilting.  The extra 4-inches of throat space allows for more edge-to-edge quilting without advancing.  Pro-Stitcher robotics allows the owner to get to the point of doing other people's quilts sooner.  Our PS training is unsurpassed.
  • The Gallery frame that the 24-inch Amara requires is a foot deeper front to back and has a sturdier frame to support the larger machine.
  • Free-motion and ruler work can be done with the 24-inch Amara, however we recommend the Pro-Stitcher robotics.
  • This machine is under $16,000.

Infinity
Lovingly called MKFinity, the HQ Infinity is Melissa's favorite machine to date. With 26" of throat space, programmable handle bars, integrated micro handles, Synergy Stitch™ regulation, and many more features, the HQ Infinity is the best way to finish quilts.
  • This is the premium machine with unique features like a bottom thread cutter, web cam for checking bottom stitch, and electronic tension adjustments.  (But they are not essential in most quilting shops.)
  • The 26-inch throat space is excellent for custom quilting with Pro-Stitcher robotics.
  • Due to the size, this is not a good machine for Free Motion longarming.
  • This machine is not normally sold without PS.  The package normally runs about $30,000 with PS.

Pro-Stitcher® Package

The industry leading automated quilting software, Pro-Stitcher Premium, now has Opti-Stitch technology that insures the best stitch quality.  When installed on a basic laptop, the software allows for remote design and planning without standing at the machine.

Pro-Stitcher allows you to produce professional quilting results faster.  Only MK Quilts provides the level of training and support needed to learn this new technology quickly.  Technical support is also included so that you do not have to deal with the computer issues and can focus on quilting.

Pro-Stitcher® Lite Package

The Pro-Stitcher Lite has the economy motor carriage for the smaller Moxie machines..  Most of the features are available that you would find in the full PS software.  Both use a computer tablet on the machine which controls the motors in the carriage.  The movement of the machine depends on the motors in the carriage.

I purchased my Forte with ProStitcher from MKQuilts because of support! Anyone can sell a machine, but having excellent support after the sale was my number one consideration. With all of the free YouTube videos, the ongoing tips and shared knowledge, as well as the purchased videos, MK’s training is superior! Buying a machine is a huge investment and being able to use it to its full potential is possible when you have MK and Mr. MK in your corner.

I found MK quilts through youtube then facebook then to video classes. I got my infinity in March but not at my local dealer. She will only help if I purchased local and offered to teach me at the rate of 300.00 an hour and told me she would only work on my machine for warranty work if I purchased a warranty contract from her for 1,500.00. I love her dearly but that is deffintly pointing me to find help somewhere not local. I wish Handi Quilter backed their product at any dealer. I feel so blessed to find MK and her classes. I can go at my own speed, look back for clarification and whenever I ask her anything she always answers. I am so inspired by the video sim seasons, classes and facebook.
